Signtronix – There is Magic in Believing if You Don’t Believe in Magic

By Joe Brewer

I have been with Signtronix for 16 years.  I had a bit of a detour since leaving 18 years ago to start my own company back in 1991 and returned 14 months ago.  I must say for those who believe the grass is greener on the other side of the fence to please re-think this delusion.

The magic that Signtronix has is not only the product but also the people.  There is no other place I would rather be than home here at Signtronix.  They say that home is always a place you can be safe.

BELIEVING in my opinion is the first step in making anything happen.  Believing you can learn a presentation, believing in your product, believing in yourself and believing in your faith as well as believing in people that really believe in you.  In my case, this was people like Kozy Boren,Tom Johnson, Vernie Boren, Steve Ingemi and Buddy Swisshelm as well as a host of others who have helped me re-enter the Signtronix world.

When people get squeezed in this thing called life, they either fold or they focus.  Family helps you focus and brings out the best in you.

My background has always been in the art field, and Signtronix allowed me to use my gifts in layout and design and create magic when the customer sees their sign.  How cool is that?

Signtronix to me is a UNIQUE place where magic happens and where God given talents and gifts are recognized daily.

So that is why I say…… “There is Magic in Believing if you don’t Believe in Magic!

“Good leaders have a great deal of modesty.  They take a backseat to their team members.” ~Tom Johnson

Size Matters

Published by under Signtronix,Signtronix Article

Sign Size Matters?

The size of your sign is not important; it’s the ability to attract attention that counts,”

Jim Callahan, Signtronix Signs

According to a recent SBA study the 3 key factors to the successful development of your commercial property are Visibility, Accessibility and Parking.

With visibility being the number one consideration in generating attention for your location from the mobile market in front of your location, you must ask yourself, “Am I doing a satisfactory job drawing attention to my business?”

Your potential customers can draw three conclusions from your business front. Continue Reading »

Signtronix – California Or Bust

Published by under Signtronix

Signtronix Arkansas Travelers RM Kirnan Lewis wants to thank Signtronix Dealer Doug Bottoroff for his commitment to contracts while Kirnan is on his “Road Trip toCalifornia” for the Regional Managers Meeting at the end of this month.

Doug has been out there working, writing contracts, including an LED-60 and an 8ft 4-ine Tri-Color EMC last week. “When Doug is “out there” you can bet on him placing Signs!” Kirnan said.

On his Californiaquest, Kirnan enjoyed a day in the field with Signtronix RM Andrew Howe, seeing an awesome placement of an IS-LED Combo at an Insurance Office in the small town of Grants, NM. Andrew and Ali Howe treated Kirnan to a great dinner and an evening of great company.

Kirnan was then treated to the unmatched “Royal Boren Treatment” while spending

4 DAYS with Vernie and JoAnne Boren in their home inSanta Fe,NM. They treated Kirnan with several awesome meals at the best of the local restaurants, but JoAnne’s home cooked meals were the highlights of the visit!  ”Equal to the several trips on the yacht, I have never felt more at home than with these fine folks,” said Kirnan. “Thank you both for a time I will never forget”.

During his time with the Borens, Kirnan also found time to place an 8ft 5-Line Tri-Color

EMC while seeing the sites inLas Vegas,NM… and they call this a “job”!  Kirnan is in now inFarmington,NM, walkin’ and talkin’ with the locals there, anticipating yet another productive week on his journey to Sunny California!

Be safe out there, Kirnan! Keep up the great work!

Signtronix – Lessons Learned On the Road

The Signtronix St. Louis Road Warrior Dynamic Duo of Seth and Sarah McNeal have been on the road lately with great success and only a few mishaps. The great Seth McNeal admittedly made a couple mistakes at one business. (NOT like Seth at all!) He went into a current Signtronix customer’s business for some referrals and, of course, got some great ones. He realized his first mistake as he was leaving the business and AFTER the owner said, “Hey Seth, what do I do if I want one of those scrolling signs for my window? Do I just call the company?” Seth said, “I can definitely help you with that!” Seth said his mistake was only going in for referrals and not to further help an already satisfied customer. Lesson learned!

Seth said, “My second mistake in that same business was after we wrote a contract for an LED-60, I went to give the owner, Tammy, a $2 bill. She said she still had the last one I gave her!” She pulled it out from where it had been tucked away for THREE years! I didn’t remember placing ANY signs in that little town, let alone to her. I didn’t even know we gave out $2 bills three years ago. Maybe one day I will sell to someone that will have one Mr. Johnson signed!”   A VERY cool side note to the story is that when Seth was getting the address and credit information, the owners said they lived on Jackson Street, the same as the business.  Seth recalled where their house was located.  The owner said, “Actually because of the extra business our sign has brought in, we were able to buy a NICER, BIGGER house on the same street!”  Seth was elated for them and grateful and excited that his job and the Signtronix products allow an entire family to benefit, not just the business front.  You never know what a lite-up will do to change a life!  Again, lesson learned!

You have to expect things of yourself before you can do them.”

Signtronix – Steel City Eagles and Utah Hawks

Published by under Signtronix,Signtronix Article

Signtronix Eagles On-Going Success

Signtronix Steel City DM Frank Marzullo checked in with his customer Baker Automotive last week after previously selling them a sign.   When Frank originally visited Baker Automotive, they were a struggling new business of only a month and a half. The owner expressed to Frank they were having trouble paying the bills already and weren’t getting any exposure on the main drag of town. Frank set them up with a beautiful Signtronix Model 48 and a new motivation to make their business work.

The first weekend the Baker sign was up the owner calculated he made $1,400 on Saturday alone from the new sign! The owner said, “My Signtronix sign was the best investment I’ve made for my business.” WOW!

To make it even sweeter, Frank got a referral from the owner and just placed another dynamic sign down the street! Way to go, Frank! Taking care of your customers is ALWAYS the way to success.

Signtronix Utah Hawks Expand Team

A big welcome to Marlon Andersen! RM Yvonne Leavitt is excited to have this professional on her team. Marlon has a many years of sales experience under his belt and is looking forward to working the Signtronix program.

Successful Hawk Sheryl Leavitt has been working in a town with road construction, which can be a little frustrating at times. But she has barreled through and found businesses who love our products. Sheryl just placed an LED-60 yesterday and is thirsty for another great sale this week! Keep up the great work, Sheryl!
