To: Signtronix - I recently purchased/installed a lovely sign from Signtronix that gave me location the ability to be noticed once the sun goes down, and in Grants Pass, or in the winter time, the sun is down EARLY…

The long and short of it… over 50% of all foot traffic into my furniture store is directly attributable to the signage around my location.

Just a note to let you know that the sign we purchased from you brought in more first time customers the first month it was up than our Yellow page advertising did. We spend thousands of dollars in yellow page advertising per year. Your sign was a one time expense that will last for years. I’m cutting back on my yellow page budget next year and let my sign do it’s work.

To Whom it May Concern at Signtronix -

I purchased a sign from your Company. Yet today people are talking about it. “You can see it a mile away” “It really lites up the front of the Building” “We can tell if you are open now” “It’s a nice looking sign” “I noticed your new sign, it wasn’t here last time I was” It was even daylight. “You don’t even need a porch light with that sign on it looks like daytime out here.”

Those are just some of the comments that people have made about the new sign. I cant really say it has brought me more business because no one has said I just stopped because I noticed you sign but people sure have noticed it.

It’s true, there’s no boss standing over your shoulder, no one forcing you to be at a certain place at a certain time. But the independent commission sales job has its own set of demands as well. Unlike the employee position, you must fail or succeed on your own efforts, through your own motivation. There may be a minimal draw paid against commissions, but those are generally barely enough to keep you in gas and macaroni and cheese dinners. To make a decent living, you will have to motivate yourself, stand over your own shoulder, and find ways to make the tedious aspect of the job interesting and enjoyable.
