The award-inning Hybrid Pixel design allows for easy serviceabily and hot-swappable pixel clusters.

Knife LED Technology

We use a special technology called "Knife LED Technology" which is exclusive to our LED message centers. The knife LED directs the light of the LED out and down towards the viewer so no brightness is lost.

The Viewing Angle of the Sign
Most EMC signs have either 70 degree or 90 degree viewing angles. That means as people pass by, there is only a limited time to see and read the sign in that limited space. Our EMCs have 140 degree viewing angles. Double what the majority of signs seen across the country have.

More LEDs per Pixel
Our monochrome electronic message centers have six LEDs inside every pixel (which makes up one point of light on the sign). That's 50% more than the industry average of four LEDs per pixel. That automatically makes our signs 50% brighter from the start.

Communication Types

There are 3 main ways to communicate between a computer and your Electronic Message Center Sign.

Direct Line - Use the included converter to hook directly from the USB port in your computer to the EMC. This option is good if the sign is located less than 300 feet from your computer. Common applications are building mounted EMC signs, and pole mounted if there is wiring access.

Wireless RF - Use an optional Radio Frequency (RF) module. A transmitter plugs into your PCs USB port and transmits the communication information to the EMC wirelessly. This is a true "Plug and Play" option. The only wiring the EMC requires is power. RF communication distance is ½ mile "line of site."

Modem or Network - This is the best option if your EMC is located a long distance from your main location. You need to get a dedicated phone line installed to your message center. You contact the sign with the modem in your PC and upload message changes via phone line or the internet.

Programming a Message Center

Your electronic LED sign comes with easy to use computer software that allows programming a message center with your messages, animations and graphics. Once you install it on your computer you can have your first message on your EMC in a matter of minutes.

The software allows you to bring your messages on and off the sign in many dynamic and fun ways like Zoom, Rotate, Drop, Sparkle, Scroll, and more. Pre-programmed transistions make it easy to deliver a professional looking message with the click of your mouse!
